Undisclosed Company Recruitment Opportunity for a Test Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team in a 6-month initial term. This role involves the execution of day-to-day test design and associated activities to high-quality standards. The successful candidate will take ownership of tasks and responsibilities individually and as part of a broad team of testers, including customers and external parties. The Test Analyst will assist and support the Test Manager with scheduling, coordinating, and prioritizing day-to-day test activities. They will work closely with colleagues from infrastructure, service management, design, and development to share knowledge and seek solutions. Additionally, the Test Analyst will contribute to non-functional testing, dynamic operational acceptance and service management testing, static testing, and maintenance of test records and assets using Jira. The ideal candidate will have experience with testing UIs and non-UI applications, interrogating complex databases using SQL, and using automation or other supportive tools. They must also be familiar with ISO29119 and its precedents, including the ISTQB Glossary of Terms. An ISTQB CTAL Certificate appropriate for the role is also required. The position requires eligibility for SC clearance and the ability to obtain it without impediment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day test design and associated activities to high-quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for SC clearance and the ability to obtain it without impediment.
  • ISTQB CTAL Certificate appropriate for the role.
  • Experience with testing UIs and non-UI applications.

  • Experience with using automation or other supportive tools.
