About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Engineer. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of race car parts within our in-house work centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including loading of production routings and work orders.
  • Reconcile and manage demand in support of race, test, and development programmes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure capacity planning aligns with the make vs. buy strategy.
  • Make informed decisions regarding in-house manufacturing or subcontracting to meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with the supply chain to support project delivery, including creation of purchase orders as needed.
  • Own and manage a project portfolio of work to ensure all tasks are on track and progressing through operations as required.
  • Work closely with the Quality team to mitigate project risks and ensure all work is managed within established processes.
  • Deliver programmes within Key Performance Indicator targets.
  • Provide support to other teams as workload dictates.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of the commercial side of low-volume, small-batch manufacture.
  • Experience in a similar position within a high-precision manufacturing environment, preferably with metallics and composites.
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques is a distinct advantage.
