Water Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer to lead our Specialist Hydraulics team in England & Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of multimillion-pound UK Water Industry projects.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic design principles, experience collaborating with other disciplines, and strong leadership skills. They will be responsible for conducting hydraulic analysis, designing water/wastewater treatment plants and pipelines, and leading critical decisions on projects.
Key Responsibilities- Working collaboratively with various design discipline engineers on projects and driving them forward with decision-making expertise.
- Preparing detailed design reports that outline calculations/analysis performed and key findings.
- Estimating and budgeting man-hours for design tasks and ensuring timely completion.
- Validating all deliverables, including calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications, adhering to our Quality Assurance (QA) system.
- A proven track record of hydraulic design experience within the UK Water Industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of hydraulic design principles and experience working with industry-standard software.
- Familiarity with transient analysis and surge suppression systems design.
