Job Overview
AECOM is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to lead, develop and expand our Specialist Hydraulics team in England & Wales. As a Senior Infrastructure Leader, you will drive projects forward and contribute to our exciting portfolio of multimillion-pound UK Water Industry projects.

About the Role
This role offers exceptional opportunities for career progression and development. You will work collaboratively with various design discipline engineers on projects and be a decision maker, preparing design reports that detail calculations/analysis performed and their key findings. You will also estimate and budget man-hours for design tasks, validating all deliverables, including calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hydraulic design within the UK Water Industry, comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic design principles and experience collaborating with other disciplines, such as Process, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical. You should also have hydraulic design for water and wastewater treatment works typically using HADES but also bespoke analysis and calculation where necessary. Transient analysis and design of surge suppression systems are also essential skills for this role.
