Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care and Support Assistants to provide high-quality care and support to customers
  • Work closely with staff to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence and personal growth
  • Ensure the safe handling of medication and maintain accurate records
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, including customers, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Promote safe practices and undertake risk assessments to ensure the safety of customers
  • Manage and implement safeguarding principles to protect customers from harm
Requirements
  • Previous experience supervising a team in a care or support setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Recent experience working with vulnerable adults, with a focus on personalized care and support
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
  • Strong organizational skills, with functional literacy and numeracy
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and best practice in care and support
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards
