RSM is seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Accounting and Business Advisory line of service, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and pre-audit readiness reviews
  • Provide financial reporting advisory and consultancy services on specific client issues
  • Manage the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, and billing
  • Ensure resource planning and team member briefing to deliver projects to clients in line with RSM's quality guidelines and procedures
  • Provide insights to clients and introduce other service lines to build relationships
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting skillset
  • Sector specialism, excellent communication skills, and experience of building lasting client relationships
  • Adaptable and collaborative team player with advanced coaching and development skills
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office products
