Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director

As a leading audit, tax and consulting firm, RSM is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director to join our team in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients. This will involve working closely with other service lines, such as Audit and Tax, to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing and debt recovery.
- Ensuring resources are planned effectively and team members are briefed appropriately to deliver projects to clients in line with RSM's quality guidelines and procedures.
- Providing insights to clients, drawing on the firm's depth of resources, and introducing other service lines as relationships are built.
- Carrying out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the role and its grading, as requested by the Office Managing Partner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting and financial reporting skillset, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. A willingness to travel to client premises or other regional offices is required, although the majority of work will be office-based.
