Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Administration Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality administration services to support the smooth operation of our Assessment Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage clinic bookings and slot allocation to ensure efficient use of resources and provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide administrative support to the POA team, including data entry onto the hospital computer system and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Respond to incoming calls in a professional and timely manner, adhering to Trust and Departmental policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the POA manager to coordinate the work and performance of clerical officers/reception staff within the team.
Requirements
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
  • NVQ3 or equivalent experience in Customer Care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 word processing skills.
  • Health Service experience within a clerical field.
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written/verbal/listening).
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise workload and make confident decisions.
