As a Senior Scientist at OMass Therapeutics, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative environment, driving groundbreaking research in structural biology. With a strong background in biochemistry, biophysics, or related fields, you will play a key role in advancing our mission to address patients' unmet needs.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in single-particle cryo-electron microscopy and X-Ray crystallography. Your expertise will enable us to solve complex drug discovery challenges, working closely with interdisciplinary project teams.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform X-ray crystallography experiments, including screen preparation, protein/ligand co-crystallization/soaking, and crystal harvesting.
- Arrange crystal shipments and synchrotron time for remote data collection.
- Process and analyze X-ray crystallography data, including indexing, integration, phasing, model building, and refinement.
**Requirements**
- PhD or relevant experience in structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, or equivalent.
- Extensive practical experience in single-particle cryo-electron microscopy and X-Ray crystallography with a track record of successfully completed projects.
- Excellent knowledge of structure determination with single-particle Cryo-EM, including sample preparation, data collection & processing, model building, and structural analysis.
**Benefits**
- Competitive salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
