Job Description

The Automation and Controls Technician will work within a high-volume precision mechanical assembly engineering environment. The primary responsibility is to perform regular preventive maintenance on automated assembly cells, ensuring maximum efficiency of equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine checks and repairs on automation systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Fault-Finding: Identify root causes of technical issues within the automation processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and optimize automation processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaboration with Automation Integrators: Work closely with automation integrators on the installation, testing, and upgrading of automated systems, ensuring compliance with standards and alignment with production goals.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment while handling complex automation systems.
