Decarbonization Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operational Support Specialist to join our team at Energy Systems Catapult. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the ongoing operations for our Living Lab trials and other assets, ensuring their smooth introduction and running.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical support to consumers, participants, and local authorities using our various platforms, including responding to queries, trial administration, and tracking trial progress.
- Stakeholder Interface: Interface with stakeholders such as Living Lab participants, colleagues, and commercial partners using strong communication skills.
- Data Quality: Review reports to monitor data quality using Tableau analytics tool, investigate any gaps in data, and escalate where necessary to resolve.
- Operational Bug Management: Report and track any operational bugs in the platform software.
- Work Prioritization: Manage day-to-day work priorities and escalate work where necessary.
- Risk and Quality Assessment: Contribute to risk and quality assessment and management.
- Technology Installation: Support the installation and decommissioning of technologies into homes, tracking installations, stock levels, and linking status.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal obligations such as GDPR and relevant operational and business procedures.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills are required to work on different projects and products simultaneously, while balancing ongoing operational tasks.
- Collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively with other teams, both internal and external, is crucial for this role.
- Continuous Improvement: A focus on continuous improvement is necessary to ensure we are working efficiently and keeping up with demands.
- Decarbonization Experience: Experience in decarbonization and/or the energy sector is highly desirable.
- Customer Service: Experience in customer service or a similar role is essential.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with an eagerness to fully understand the issue and prevent it happening again.
- Tableau Experience: Experience using Tableau analytics tool to scrutinize large datasets.
- GDPR Compliance: Experience complying with GDPR is essential.
- Risk and Quality Management: Experience in risk and quality assessment and management is highly desirable.
- Project Management: Experience managing trials and products, including New Product Introduction, is essential.
