Job Title: Area Sales Manager

At Schneider Electric, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the Southeast Region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our contractor customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Area Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and increase market share in the Southeast Region.
  • Financial Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets, manage profitability, and achieve strategic initiatives within your customer base.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across all channels, leveraging these relationships to drive business growth and increase sales.
  • CRM Excellence: Ensure excellent use of CRM tools, documenting all customer interactions and managing opportunities to drive sales and growth.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline management process to ensure a short-, medium-, and long-term view of projects and sales opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Sales Management: Proven experience as a high-performing sales professional and as part of a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong Influence and Convincing Skills: Ability to influence and convince customers to purchase our products and services.
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to drive sales and achieve business objectives.
  • Highly Organized: Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Good General Business Sense: Understanding of the electrical distribution market and ability to analyze market trends.
  • Strong Understanding of Electrical Distribution Products: In-depth knowledge of our electrical distribution products and services.
