We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team at Pinnacle Windows. As a key member of our Transport Department, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Pick and process computer-generated orders with repetitive handling and lifting of heavy and large items.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own to meet operational requirements.
- Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift truck and ensuring accurate inventory control.
- Organizing and arranging the loading of all windows and doors ready for next day deliveries.
- Short/long distance driving, if required, and maintaining a clean driving record.
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers orders, maintaining high levels of Health and Safety.
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements and assist in warehouse inventory controls using handheld scanners.
- Handle stock with care, promptly reporting damages or shortages, and maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Ensure efficient operations by following operational procedures, rules, and schedules, and loading and checking all deliveries are scanned out and complete.
- Ideal experience in a transport environment with excellent communication skills and numerical skills.
- Positive and flexible attitude to work, strong attention to detail to ensure documentation is correct and error-free.
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines, Health & Safety awareness, and a clean driving license.
- Must be over 25 years of age for fleet insurance.
