Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery, ensuring that all staff members are aware of and adhere to our policies and procedures.
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties, providing guidance and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms, ensuring that all children receive a high-quality education and care.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery's keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and care.
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring that all children are meeting their developmental milestones.
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child's progress, ensuring that they are informed and involved in their child's education and care.
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers, ensuring that we maintain a positive reputation and attract new families to our service.
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff, ensuring that they feel valued and supported in their roles.
  • Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that we provide a warm and welcoming environment for all families.
