As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of residents, leading and motivating the care team, and providing clinical guidance and training for safe and efficient home operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Lead and motivate the care team to deliver top-notch care
- Provide clinical guidance and training for safe and efficient home operations
- Develop and evaluate personalised care plans for residents
- Ensure work practices comply with relevant standards and legislation
- Promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect
Requirements:
To be successful as a Care Home Manager, you will need:
- Experience as a Registered Nurse with a current PIN on the NMC register
- A Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one
- Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments
- Strong communication skills with a focus on kindness and consideration
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and the ability to act on concerns
