Care Home Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Care Home Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care to residents in Cheshire.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, ensuring their well-being and dignity are always prioritised. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of residents, leading and motivating the care team, and providing clinical guidance and training for safe and efficient home operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
  • Lead and motivate the care team to deliver top-notch care
  • Provide clinical guidance and training for safe and efficient home operations
  • Develop and evaluate personalised care plans for residents
  • Ensure work practices comply with relevant standards and legislation
  • Promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect

Requirements:

To be successful as a Care Home Manager, you will need:

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse with a current PIN on the NMC register
  • A Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one
  • Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on kindness and consideration
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and the ability to act on concerns
