About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our Estates and Facilities Management team at Reed Property & Construction. As a Fabric Technician, you will play a crucial role in the operational maintenance of all building fabric across our sites, including statutory inspection and testing where required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out multi-skilled tasks in a multi-trade fabric role, including plastering, carpentry, and building skills and experience.
  • Diagnose problems with building fabric and implement effective solutions.
  • Undertake training in other trade disciplines, including gas safe.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Requirements
  • Hold a current full EU license or equivalent permanent license.
  • Be willing to undertake training in other trade disciplines.
  • Have experience in diagnosing problems with building fabric.
  • Hold a City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ/technician qualification in building-related construction, installation, and maintenance.
