An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance team at Hammonds Furniture Limited. This role will work Monday to Friday on a rotation basis between earlies and lates (06:00-14:00 or 13:00-21:00).

About the Role

As a key member of this collaborative team, you will be responsible for ensuring production equipment remains operational for our manufacturing operation. You will work across both our manufacturing sites in Hinckley, conducting maintenance activities safely and accurately completing relevant information and reports to a high standard.

  • Taking a proactive approach in driving continuous improvement ideas as well as personal ownership of individual projects and contribution to departmental projects.
  • Taking responsibility for individual and others' health and safety, ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to and near misses and hazards are reported when witnessed.
  • Stock allocation, stock checks, and stock management processes completed in line with departmental procedures and policy.
Requirements

We require a wealth of experience within a similar role working with CNC/PLC/PC controlled machine tool or process control production equipment. A right first time attitude is paramount for success as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings to include PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical.

You should also have experience in fault finding on Siemens S7 and/or Mitsubishi PLCs. Additionally, you should be apprentice trained or time served in multi-skilled maintenance.

Estimated salary range: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
