About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at phs Besafe, providing support for maintenance tasks and projects nationwide. This exciting opportunity is based out of the Midlands and offers a salary of £35,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have a background working in industrial laundries and possess skills in hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as experience with equipment updates, new installations, and building/infrastructure upgrades.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing industrial laundry equipment at our sites across the UK.
- Taking ownership of engineering issues, including testing equipment, fault finding, and repairing equipment according to customer service level agreements.
- Occasionally requiring overnight stays.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with a solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical circuit diagrams.
- Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles, as well as proficiency in using electrical and hydraulic test equipment.
- Compliance with regulations and instructions according to our policies.
- A valid full UK manual Driving Licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points.
