Production Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's maintenance team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production equipment remains operational for our manufacturing operation.
- Responsibilities:
- Reactive and proactive maintenance of production equipment
- Inventory control and stock management
- Fault finding and resolution within agreed timescales
- Safety procedures and risk assessments
The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC/PLC/PC controlled machine tools or process control production equipment. A strong understanding of PLCs, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is essential.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Apprentice-trained or time-served in multi-skilled maintenance
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Siemens S7 and/or Mitsubishi PLCs
Estimated Salary: £46,350 per year
