Job Summary

Bond Williams is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Group Financial Controller to join our client's retail business. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to the retail business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
  • Financial Operations
    • Oversee the financial operations of the retail business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, including financial controllers and accountants.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance financial skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce business.
    • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability through financial leadership.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
