NHS Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NHS Specialist Nurse to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality breast cancer services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an ambassador for the breast clinical nurse specialists (BCNS) team, promoting excellence in patient care and clinical practice.
- Provide professional, clinical, and innovative care delivery within a multi-professional team, working closely with consultants, radiography staff, oncologists, and pathology staff.
- Develop and deliver programmes of specialist education and training to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide optimal care.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare colleagues to develop and improve breast services, including the development of nurse-led clinics and the implementation of new treatments and technologies.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert clinical advice and contributing to decision-making.
