About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Healthcare Pharmacist to work as part of our dedicated team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients across the trust, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate expertise in clinical pharmacy practice, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality improvement. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of specialties and teams to develop and implement evidence-based best practices.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing clinical advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on medication management and prescribing practices
  • Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication use and reduce errors
  • Participating in education and training programs to maintain and develop clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess relevant experience and qualifications in clinical pharmacy practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A competitive salary of £46,148 - £52,809 per annum is offered, commensurate with experience. This role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks and is open to individuals with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and safety.
