About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Fostering Recruitment and Publicity Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills in recruitment and marketing, while working closely with Social Workers and foster carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies to promote fostering in Merton.
  • Maintain and build relationships with community groups and professionals to promote fostering in Merton.
  • Devise and implement recruitment marketing strategies for individual children to find alternative families for them.
  • Liaise with members of the public and approved foster carers as part of our recruitment campaign.
  • Work closely with Social Workers and support the team in carrying out initial enquiry discussions, information sessions, and coordinating training for foster carers.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in marketing, promotion, and recruitment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
