About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Science Practitioner to join our Genomics Laboratory team. As a key member of our Specimen Reception and Send-out Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, processing, and dispatch of patient samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for booking in queries and oversee the workflow of Specimen Reception.
  • Maintain the banking system for the storage of patient samples and prepare and package DNA samples and cultured cells for dispatch to other laboratories.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure the efficient processing of samples and provide training and support to colleagues as needed.
