Deputy Care Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Tanglewood Care Homes in Louth. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management, supervision, and administration of our care home, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to our residents in compliance with regulatory and statutory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the standards of care delivered to our residents and records are maintained
  • Provide leadership and management to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home, including clinical and dementia care
  • Monitor and control sickness and absence in line with Company policy
  • Assist the Registered Manager with formal supervision and appraisal of staff members
  • Support the Registered Manager to ensure the ongoing financial viability of the service
Requirements:
  • Commitment to achieving the Leadership and Management Award (Level 5)
  • Previous management/supervisory experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff
  • Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group
