Night Care Senior Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our care team as a Night Care Senior. This role involves providing relationship-centred leadership and direction to the care and ancillary team as a shift leader.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality registered care home for older people, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to the care team during night shifts
  • Coordinating the delivery of high-quality care to residents
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting incidents
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in care delivery, especially with older people
  • A good working knowledge of compliance within a care setting, including safeguarding, incident reporting, medications management and health and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisive decisions
  • QCF/NVQ Level 2 (and be willing to work towards Level 3)
  • Ability to effectively use IT, including Outlook, Word and basic Excel

Salary: £15.21 per hour PLUS 10% enhancement for hours between 11pm and 7am

Hours: 10.5 per week on Nights on a permanent basis
