The Manor House Roundhay, our luxurious new care home in Leeds, is seeking an exceptional Care Team Lead to join our team. As part of Anchor's commitment to providing exceptional care and housing for older people, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our residents.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team of carers and support staff, ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being for our residents. You will work closely with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and resident care, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Leadership and Guidance: Provide expert guidance and support to care staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and policies, promoting individualized, person-centered care for residents.
  2. Staff Supervision: Collaborate with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations, managing staff rotas, training, and development, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality care services.
  3. Risk Assessment and Compliance: Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, including health and safety standards, ensuring The Manor House Roundhay meets the highest expectations.
  4. Resident Advocacy: Advocate for residents' needs, preferences, and rights, fostering open communication with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  5. Problem-Solving: Address challenges promptly and proactively, working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues efficiently.
  6. Care Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to improve care quality, using knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults, audits, and inspections to drive continuous improvement.
