As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the community, working closely with District Nurses, registered Community Nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will have the chance to work in a variety of settings, including community bases, and will be expected to be flexible and adaptable in your role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the community, including unsupervised delegated nursing duties as defined by the caseload holder.
- Work effectively as a member of the District Nursing team, developing and maintaining effective channels of communication with other professionals and agencies.
- Be proficient and competent in your role, working within your scope of practice as governed by the NMC Code and NMC Standards of Proficiency.
- Provide holistic and person-centered care and support for people in your care.
- Participate in audits and service improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of the Nursing Associate role.
- Supervise and support HCAs, Trainee Nursing Associates, and Pre-registration nurses.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Foundation Degree in health or a related field.
- Evidence of further study or development in a healthcare-related area.
- At least 2 years of experience in the NHS.
- A current driving license.
