Nurse Associate/Assistant Practitioner in Complex Wound Clinics

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate/Assistant Practitioner to join our Chronic Wound Team in a 30-hour secondment opportunity.
As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses to provide high-quality patient care in community settings.
Key responsibilities include reviewing patients in the community, carrying out nursing tasks, and participating in audits and service improvement initiatives.
Main Duties
- Work autonomously in community settings reviewing patients and providing nursing care.
- Be confident and competent in required nursing skills, with additional training provided for community-specific skills.
- Supervise and support HCAs, Trainee Nursing Associates, and Pre-registration nurses.
- Participate in audits and service improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Person Specification
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
- Level 5 Foundation Degree Nursing Associate or equivalent.
- GCSEs Grades 4 and above or A to C in Maths and English or equivalent level qualification.
