Construction Site Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Atheray Stone. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the setting-out and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities- Site Engineering Duties: Provide site engineering duties within a designated section of the project, establishing level and survey control, and setting out works in line with contract drawings.
- Site Management Support: Assist the site management team in managing sections of the work and specific sub-contractor packages.
- Quality Control: Take responsibility for checking delivered materials to ensure compliance with specifications, including subcontractor materials.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for all site activities, including calibration documents, check registers, and records for excavations, concrete pours, and reinforcement.
- Surveying: Conduct surveys of completed works to record as-built conditions.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing method statements, task briefings, and inspection and test plans.

About YouYou should have experience working on infrastructure or civil works, including earthworks, highways, structures, drainage, or utilities. You'll be comfortable collaborating with Section Engineers, sub-contractors, and the site management team to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements- Qualifications: HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and working towards ICE membership.
- Experience: Experience with setting out on civil engineering projects and managing daily on-site activities.
- Certifications: CSCS Card.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with the project delivery team and clients.
