About The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager (or Senior National Account Manager) to join our team at The Oval Partnership.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading provider of pet nutrition solutions and contribute to driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key accounts across pet specialty, brands, and online channels to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Negotiate pricing, service, promotions, and terms of trade with key customers to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of account plans and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for growth by analyzing market data, competitor activity, and commercial insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, marketing, finance, or related field preferred but not essential.
  • Proven track record of success in national account management or senior national account management, preferably in FMCG or pet food industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to manage P&L effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Customer-centric mindset with focus on building long-term, strategic partnerships.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum based on experience and location.
