Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Llandrindod Wells Memorial Hospital. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients, working closely with trained nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to patients, observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Sisters, including a dedicated band 6 sister and a unit manager, to deliver direct care to patients.
  • Support patients with dignity, compassion, and honesty, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of recent and relevant experience in an acute medical or mental health setting.
  • Proof of immunisations for Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR.
  • Up-to-date training certificates.
  • UK Resident.
  • The right to work in the UK.
