Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking experienced Healthcare Support Workers to join our team at Llandrindod Wells Memorial Hospital.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting trained nurses in delivering direct care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support trained nurses in delivering direct care to patients
  • Provide therapeutic care and support to patients, including observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Sisters, including a dedicated band 6 sister and a unit manager
  • Ensure patient dignity, compassion, and honesty are upheld at all times
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months recent and relevant experience in an acute medical or mental health setting
  • Proof of immunisations for TB, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR
  • Up-to-date training certificates
  • UK Resident
  • Right to work in the UK
