As a leading-edge product development and technology services company, Sagentia is at the forefront of innovation. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electromechanical systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work with talented multi-disciplinary project teams, leveraging your creativity and technical expertise to design and develop world-class solutions for our clients. You'll be responsible for designing high-quality analogue and digital circuits, collaborating with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, and leading the electronics hardware contribution within multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality analogue and digital circuits for client projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish system architecture and decompose complex requirements
  • Interact with clients to plan projects, identify design requirements, and implement, test, and deliver finished designs
  • Lead the electronics hardware contribution within multidisciplinary projects
  • Support integration and verification activities at hardware and system level

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of electronics design lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with designing analogue and digital circuits
  • Passion for learning new electronic technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Good academic track record with a degree or postgraduate qualification in electronics, engineering, or a related subject

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven FPGA hardware design experience and VHDL/Verilog programming
  • Simulation of designs using Spice and/or RF simulators
  • RF design, test, and compliance to 6GHz
  • Previous work on Energy Harvesting

A Day in the Life:

You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across sectors, including medical, industrial, consumer, food and beverage, and consumer. Our projects are typically collaborative, cross-disciplinary teams that provide insight into best practice product development in electronics design, mechanical design, and software design.

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you'll be based at our Sagentia Innovation office in Great Burgh, Epsom, with opportunities for short travel to client sites in Europe or the USA. You'll enjoy a fast-paced environment where you'll solve a variety of challenges for different clients.
