As a leading-edge product development and technology services company, Sagentia is at the forefront of innovation. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electromechanical systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work with talented multi-disciplinary project teams, leveraging your creativity and technical expertise to design and develop world-class solutions for our clients. You'll be responsible for designing high-quality analogue and digital circuits, collaborating with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, and leading the electronics hardware contribution within multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality analogue and digital circuits for client projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish system architecture and decompose complex requirements
  • Interact with clients to plan projects, identify design requirements, and implement, test, and deliver finished designs
  • Lead the electronics hardware contribution within multidisciplinary projects
  • Support integration and verification activities at hardware and system level

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of electronics design lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with designing analogue and digital circuits
  • Passion for learning new electronic technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Good academic track record with a degree or postgraduate qualification in electronics, engineering, or a related subject

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven FPGA hardware design experience and VHDL/Verilog programming
  • Simulation of designs using Spice and/or RF simulators
  • RF design, test, and compliance to 6GHz
  • Previous work on Energy Harvesting

About the Role:

You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including medical, industrial, consumer, food and beverage, and consumer. Our projects are typically collaborative, cross-disciplinary teams that provide insight into best practice product development in electronics design, mechanical design, and software design.

As a Senior Electronics Engineer at Sagentia, you'll enjoy a fast-paced environment where you'll solve a variety of challenges for different clients. You'll be based at our Sagentia Innovation office in Great Burgh, Epsom, with opportunities for short travel to client sites in Europe or the USA.
