At Orchard Care Homes, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting them to maintain their independence and engage in meaningful activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enable Independence: Assist individuals with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and oral care, while promoting their autonomy and dignity.
- Social Support: Provide emotional support and encouragement to help residents participate in leisure activities that cater to their preferences and needs.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe environment by undertaking light cleaning duties, making beds, and ensuring the home is tidy at all times.
- Nutrition and Hydration: Serve meals and refreshments attractively, providing polite and courteous service to residents.
- Health and Safety: Comply with statutory and legal requirements, including Health & Safety, COSHH, and the Care Standards Act, to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
