Estate Services Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Estate Services Officer to join our Estates team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of gardeners and cleaners across multiple housing schemes in Barnsley, Rotherham, and Sheffield.
Your primary focus will be on delivering and maintaining an excellent level of cleaning, gardening, and grounds services. You will work closely with the Estates & Grounds Maintenance Manager to ensure that all services are delivered in line with agreed budgets and in compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and PPE legislation.
You will be responsible for facilitating and scheduling of the estates services, liaising with customers on site to identify service improvements, and ensuring the reporting of repairs, fly tipping, graffiti, and safeguarding alerts. Additionally, you will monitor the stock and supply of all allocated equipment, including vehicles and materials, and confirm compliance checks are in place to ensure safety of use.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage remote working teams and staff members, including strong performance management skills.
- Deliver high-quality estate services, including grounds maintenance, gardening, and compliance activities.
- Liaise with customers and customer feedback in a service delivery environment.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and stock management.
- Hold a current full UK driving license.
Desirable Experience
- Experience of delivering services in line with Health & Safety legislation and compliance processes.
- Understanding of service charges and mobile working devices.
Desirable Qualifications
- Horticulture NVQ, BTEC, or relevant professional qualification.
- Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Certification.
