Maintenance Specialist

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to support our Engineering Manager and Shift Skills Development Managers in providing round-the-clock response to mechanical and electrical breakdowns. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably with HNC level qualification, and be mechanically or electrically biased.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns as quickly as possible
- Diagnose and recommend improvements to manufacturing equipment and site facilities
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure it is safe and reliable
- Assist in training other Maintenance Engineers in areas of expertise
- Help Production Operatives identify machine failures early on
- Inform Management of potential breakdowns or process downtime
- Ensure safe working practices at all times
- Guarantee compliance with company policies and procedures
