Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and professional Nutrition Professional to join our fast-paced team working under Cambridge Health Alliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and other services to Massachusetts families who qualify.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess health status and provide personalized nutrition recommendations to pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 5.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, residents, community-based organizations, and city leadership to assess health status and determine priorities.
  • Provide leadership around health issues that impact the community.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in public health nutrition, nutrition, foods and nutrition, or nutrition education OR Master's degree in public health nutrition, nutrition, or food and nutrition if Bachelor's degree is not in the related field.
  • Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, or licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Dietitians and Nutritionists, desired.
  • One year's experience in clinical or community nutrition, preferred.
  • Good communication skills and sensitivity to the needs of the participant population.
  • Availability to work at multiple WIC sites and during program clinic hours as needed.
  • Spanish/Portuguese speaker, preferred.
