Job Title: Specialist Cardiac Physiologist

The King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to join our team. As a Specialist Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing device implantation and follow-up.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work at an advanced healthcare scientist level to support the Principal Cardiac Physiologist for CRM in delivering a high standard of care for device follow-up patients.
  • Participate in the management of remote monitoring and provision of complex device implantation and follow-up services.
  • Present cases at the CRM/EP multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Support the Lead Physiologist for CRM in the day-to-day running of the CRM service.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of a quality service and undertake additional managerial responsibilities as designated by the Principal Physiologists.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven competency and advanced knowledge in implanting and following up of all CRM devices and complications.
  • Good general knowledge of Cardiology, including heart failure.
  • Good understanding of EP/CRM device services and recent initiatives.
  • Awareness and understanding of current health issues.
