About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Engineer Apprentice to join our Radiology team. As a Field Engineer Apprentice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical equipment in hospitals and healthcare facilities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend hospital Radiology departments with trained engineers to carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of Bayer medical equipment.
  • Gain experience of field service activities and develop an understanding of working within the NHS and private sector healthcare environments.
  • Assist qualified engineers with the planning, scheduling, and performing of on-site service support as required.
  • Keep accurate records of all work carried out and adhere to all department and company processes and compliance requirements.

Requirements
  • Minimum of grade A-C / grade 4 in Maths and English GCSE level, Science A-levels preferred.

  • Mandatory valid passport and 1-year full clean driving licence.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a wider team.
  • Ability to act with integrity in a highly compliant environment.
