About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our sites in the XX postcode area.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including offices, corridors, and communal spaces
  • Operating a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions
  • Emptying bins and recycling, and ensuring all waste is disposed of properly
  • Dusting and sanitizing surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities team

We require someone who is physically fit, able to work independently, and has a keen eye for detail. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points, as you will be responsible for driving a company van between sites.
