About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Mobile Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness at various locations in the XX postcode area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness at all locations, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, and dusting and sanitising surfaces.
  • Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including a work vehicle (van) provided by Royal Mail.
  • Work independently, managing your own time and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and managers, adhering to Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous cleaning experience, although not essential.
  • Naturally friendly and good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
