People Technology Delivery Team Lead

As a key member of our People Technology team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, ensuring the smooth delivery of our People Technology services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing key People Technology processes, including Workday change request management and ticket escalations.
  • Providing 3rd line support via Service Now, ensuring timely resolution of tickets and adherence to SLAs.
  • Providing Workday functional guidance and support to the People Technology team.
  • Managing relationships with AMS providers and raising cases as necessary.
  • Leading functional configuration changes and projects as required.
  • Acting as an expert advisor in all aspects of People Technology delivery and project work.
  • Continuously improving the People Technology service delivery in all dimensions, including quality and speed of delivery.
  • Identifying potential system issues and working with People Technology Partners and GPOs to address them.
  • Partnering with Global Process Owners to ensure the teams are using technology appropriately and have the support they need.
  • Recommending system enhancements and ensuring the maximization of existing technology capabilities.
  • Overseeing the proper use of People technologies and providing support, advice, and training on best practice to HR colleagues.
  • Representing the People Technology team on HR projects, interpreting requirements, suggesting solutions, and ensuring associated deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly the HR CoEs and HR Services teams.
  • Participating actively in the Workday Community, proposing and advocating for improvements to the Workday solution, and building a network of peers to share best practice with.
  • Handling sensitive data with care, always having GDPR in mind and ensuring all necessary security measures are taken.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in a related discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday technology within a global organization.
  • Ability to deal with complex and varied problems and come up with appropriate solutions.
  • Able to lead conversations with external vendors around technology requirements.
  • Able to identify potential technology issues before they arise and put in place measures to address them.
  • Flexibility to work in a global team across multiple time zones.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Strong planning and project management skills are essential; manage time well, recognize priorities, and accomplish all objectives.
  • Good communication skills – able to communicate across cultures at all levels.
  • Well-developed general IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations like GDPR.
