About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced People Insights and HRIS Lead to join our People and Culture team at the Royal Society of Chemistry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the management, development, and integration of our new HRIS system, Workday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and enhance the Workday HRIS system, advising on setup and implementation, and leading functional configuration changes.
  • Develop and maintain workforce planning capabilities, providing data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
  • Shape and optimise the organisation's people strategy with data insights, collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Identify and report on workforce risks, and support risk mitigation strategies with data insights.
  • Develop workforce analytics models and metrics, recommend data collection and analytics tools, and ensure data quality and security.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday technology, with expertise in applying Workday technology, ideally within a global organisation.
  • Problem-solving abilities, with the ability to deal with complex and varied problems and come up with appropriate solutions.
  • Vendor management skills, with the ability to lead conversations with external vendors around technology requirements.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities to derive value and identify potential technology issues before they arise.
  • Influencing skills, with strong influencing skills to drive initiatives and gain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage time well, recognise priorities, and accomplish all objectives.
