Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop concept design through planning, sketching, and rendering
  • Review and refine design language with the Project Leader and Founder/Partner
  • Formulate furniture boards and further develop concept design with sketches, thumbnails, and plans
  • Design Development: flush out and refine approved design language into buildable drawings, review and implement design specifications, and coordinate with outside project consultants
  • Work with Project Management to develop specialty custom-built items and provide sufficient information for budget development
  • Share and pass on design knowledge to Graduate and Interior designers, and assist in the review of project documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of Design (Interior design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Fashion design, etc.)
  • ~6+ years of post-graduate work experience necessary
  • Adequate knowledge of the Interior Design Profession
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, and b+w hand rendering skills
  • Additional 3D software skills are an asset
  • Legal right to work in the UK
