About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating and developing sales of heating systems in the North East and Scotland regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets in the social housing, Local Authorities, and Councils sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including housing associations, developers, and installers.
  • Provide solution packages that meet the specific needs of customers, including in-depth understanding of customer usage and installation environments.
  • Work closely with technical support to create compelling installation plans and respond to customer requests.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product introductions.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of selling to social housing, Local Authorities, and Councils, both directly and through installers, specifiers, architects, and consultants.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience of construction-related products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and deliver long-term goals.
  • Experience of using a CRM system, such as Salesforce or Microsoft 365.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000.
  • A car allowance.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus public holidays.
