Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Remedy Education is proud to be supporting a Southwark-based primary and nursery school as they require an experienced and reliable teaching assistant to support the EYFS/Reception class.

About the Role

In this role, you will be working closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils. You will support all pupils in the class, offering 1:1 and small group sessions in key areas such as phonics, social and emotional development, and learn through play.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the EYFS/Reception class with a focus on phonics, social and emotional development, and learn through play
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with SEN as required, alongside the allocated 1:1 teaching assistant
Requirements
  • Experience working within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years/Supporting Teaching and Learning is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience working with SEN is advantageous but not essential
