Join Our Team as an EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Infant School in Havering. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Class Teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning activities for children aged 3-7 years old.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social development.
  • Assist the Class Teacher in planning and implementing learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of EYFS children.
  • Supervise and lead small groups of children, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other support staff to implement policies and practices that align with the school's ethos.
  • Support children with additional learning needs, providing tailored support and accommodations to ensure their inclusion and success.
Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology or Education from a reputable UK University.
  • Have previous experience working with EYFS children, ideally in a school setting.
  • Exhibit a confident and bubbly personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be an aspiring EYFS or Primary Teacher, eager to gain valuable experience and build a strong foundation for your future career.
