Job Title: Global Purchasing Leader

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our global purchasing initiatives and drive strategic procurement outcomes across the organization. As a key member of the Finance Business Partnering Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's procurement strategy and ensuring seamless execution across the business.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for refining GSMA's procurement policy, developing guidance and training for buyers, and providing tools and documents to simplify the process. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, including Risk & Compliance, Legal department, and IT & Cyber/Infosec teams, to achieve value for money through benchmarking, analysis, and negotiation support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective purchasing policies and processes to meet business objectives and operational needs.
  • Create and review opportunities to improve business performance and deliver best value and savings.
  • Support / Lead new and ongoing initiatives and projects related to procurement, including P2P process improvements across GSMA.
  • Evaluate challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
  • Provide management reports and key performance data.

Salary: The successful candidate can expect a salary in the region of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  1. You will have experience in procurement, managing RFPs and supplier onboarding processes.
  2. You will strive to become a trusted business partner and subject matter expert in all things procurement with the opportunity to develop the existing end-to-end purchase to pay process.
